Don't Call It A Comeback

It's been over a month since my last blog post and before that it was only once or twice a month at best.  There are a few reasons/excuses for my infrequency and inconsistency.  I think they are valid excuses but everyone typically thinks their excuses are good.  You probably don't need to know what they are but I'll share them just so I can write them out loud.

• I've been spending time with my family.
• I've been spending any writing time on a book rather than this blog.  I'm in the process of writing a book has proved to be much more difficult and time consuming than I anticipated.  As it turns out, I don't have as much to say about one topic as I thought I did.

Regardless of the reasons, its time to come back.  For me, blogging is a way for me to reflect on what I am learning.  When I write about it, it becomes reinforced and sticks better.  I have learned a lot this Summer and in the first year of being a Dad that have slipped my mind because I didn't take the time to reinforce it via this blog.  

So to the few faithful readers of this blog, thanks for your patience and I look forward to sharing what God has been teaching me.  Thanks for your support and my hope is that you can learn from the lessons that I am learning.
