50 Day Challenge Week 3

This is the 3rd week of the 50 day challenge: 50 days of pursuing God.  This week we discussed Psalm 128:2 You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessing and prosperity will be yours.   Here are the week 3 Challenges.  For the previous two weeks of challenges simply look at the previous posts.

  • Tithe - Give 10% of your income back to God via your local church.
  • Develop and execute a plan to get and stay out of debt.  - You will find that you can bless others so much more when you find financial freedom.
  • Bless someone financially or using other resources. - Great things happen when you use what God has given you to bless others. Use your resources, whatever God has blessed you with to strategically be a blessing to others this week.
  • Write out your blessings that you can use to bless others. - What resources do you have that you can use to help others?  What gifts, talents, or abilities do you have that you can use to glorify God and advance his Kingdom.  Make a list so you know what you can do.
  • Write out your sphere of influence.  Pray for those in your care. - God has strategically placed you in your location, your job, your family, your neighborhood, for a purpose.  He put you there to advance His kingdom by maximizing your resources.  List all the people you have the ability to positively influence and pray for them.
  • Use phone, e-mail or social media to encourage friends/others. - It sounds silly but God blessed you with a phone, e-mail account, and social media to Glorify Him and advance His kingdom.  Use these resources to intentionally and strategically build others up.
  • Ask your kids "How can I pray for you this week?" Follow up! - I think you'll be surprised what you will find out, how much closer you will grow to them, and how much closer they will grow towards you if you make this a weekly habit.
Don't forget the daily challenges of praying, reading the bible, and listening to Christian music/sermons!  Pursue God Daily!
